Brief Description

The Key School Parents' Association is pleased to host its 31st annual 5K/10K and Family Fun Run. Flat & Fast! The chip timed course is ideal for those running their very first 5K/10K as well as those looking to achieve a new PR. Runners will wind their way through the scenic residential community of Hillsmere Shores on paved roads, catching glimpses of the South River along the route. Runners of all ages and experience levels are welcome.

Entry Fees

5K or 10K: $25 (On-line); $30 (Mail-in, Drop-off, or on Race Day)

1-mile Family Fun Run:
....$15/individual or $45/Family of 3 or more (by Friday, Oct. 21st)
....$20/individual or $60/Family of 3 or more) (on Race Day)

Snooze-in: $20
.....Cheer on the runners from the comfort of your own bed! Pay a discounted registration fee, sleep in late on race day, and receive a race T-shirt for your support!

On-line: Save a tree and register on-line by 12:00 noon Friday, October 21, 2011

By Mail: Send entry form with your check payable to The Key School to: The Key School - Advancement Office, Attn: Suzanne Martin, 534 Hillsmere Drive, Annapolis, MD 21403. Must be postmarked by Friday, October 14, 2011. Download a race entry form from www.keyschool.org

Race Day Registration: Begins at 8:00 AM and closes at 8:45 AM SHARP!

T-Shirt

Participants who register by Friday, October 7, 2011 are guaranteed a race T-shirt.

Packet Pick-up

Pre-registered runners may pick up their packets on the day of the race at Key School next to the bookstore starting at 8:00 AM.

Race Day Schedule

8:00 - 8:45 AM - Race Day Registration and Packet pick-up
9:00 AM - 5K and 10K
9:15 AM - 1-mile Family Fun Run
Awards Ceremony to follow

Race Timing (5K and 10K)

Timing and scoring for the 5K and 10K races will be provided by Bluepoint Race Management. Chips must be picked up on race morning and returned at the end of the race. Volunteers will be collecting the chips from runners at the finish line.

Top 2 finishers Overall (Male/Female)
5K: Top 2 male/female finishers in the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
10K: Top 2 male/female finishers in the following age groups: 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
No duplicates

1-mile Family Fun Run

Don't miss the 1-mile Family Fun Run at 9:15 AM. All participants will receive a medal at the finish line. This event is guaranteed to be fun for kids and adults!

Additional Information

Strollers and walkers welcome! Water station along the course. Refreshments will be available post-race. Results will be posted on-line at active.com
