Additional Information

On Saturday, September 11, 2010, our 3rd 9/11 Heroes Run, we will race again in remembrance of those who have faithfully served our country. This special event will again expand to include races in Doylestown, PA, Allentown, PA, Media, PA, Pottstown, PA, Irvine, CA, Monterey, CA, and New York, NY! We will also be hosting a 9/11 Heroes Run on Sunday, September 12, 2010 in Annapolis, MD. You are part of something very special as we plan to continue to grow with new locations every year! Of course, our growth would not be possible without your support and we truly appreciate your generosity. We hope you realize that your participation in this event represents something much bigger than a simple donation – it is an important and patriotic acknowledgement of all that our Heroes have done for us and will continue to do for us; that we truly appreciate that they are there for us, that they put everything on the line for us, and that they do not ask for anything in return.

Our 3rd Annual Heroes Run will again raise funds in full support of the mission of the Travis Manion Foundation. All race proceeds will go directly to support this worthy cause and will be utilized locally. Our Doylestown race was the springboard. However, the purpose of the 9/11 Heroes Run is to spread awareness of the sacrifices of our Heroes far and wide. The spirit of all our Heroes has moved us to think big, but your support is what makes it all possible!

Mission Statement of the Travis Manion Foundation:
The Foundation’s mission is to assist wounded Veterans and the families of Fallen Heroes. We will continue the service to community and country exemplified by these Fallen Heroes and Veterans. In the spirit of the Fallen, we will foster strength of mind and body to create a generation of future leaders.
