Brief Description

Come Santa, Come Elves, Come Reindeer, Come All!!!!!! Join us to kick-off the Holiday Season on December 1st 2012 at 3:25pm. The 2nd Annual Run Santa Run 1 miler, will be the exciting start to the Amesbury Holiday Pararde!

Run Santa Run

This 1 Miler is for families, friends, men, women and children. You MUST wear a Holiday costume!!! You could be a tree, snowman or anything that brings the Holidays Home. (we encourage santa and his elves)

Proceeds

All proceeds for this race go directly to the Amesbury Holiday Parade.

Race Day Registration

Registration will begin at 2:30pm at the Town Park near the ball field. All runners are to sign a waiver (in case you trip over a candy cane) and will be given bells for the race. Runners will line up 3 minutes before the Amesbury Holiday Parade.

What is Run Santa Run?

Run Santa Run on a 1 Mile run for fun that starts off the Amesbury Holiday Parade. Don't be shy! This race was great and alot of fun for kids.

Parking

Parking is located at the High School or Downtown Amesbury. You can walk up to the park and after the race and parade, drive home.

Race Start

The race will be escorted by the Amesbury Police and will begin at the Town Park, ending at the Lower Millyard in Downtown Amesbury. You will need to walk back to your car, which is 1 mile away.

After the 1 Mile Sprint?

You and your family will be able to watch the Amesbury Holiday Parade roll through the streets of Downtown.

Additional Information

This is a 1 Mile race ONLY! Runners must wear a santa costume (preferred), santa hat, elf costume or reindeer costume. A prize will be awarded to the BEST santa outfit and best overall costume (male or female). Bells will be given to ALL runners to either place on their shoes, clothes ect...

Mob Events

Have you raced through fire, crawled under barbed wire, and sloshed through mud pits with your friends? What are you waiting for? It's probably the most fun you'll ever have at a race. Throw on a costume, grab a beer, and get downright dirty when you join the Mob.
