Brief Description

Welcome to the 1st Annual 'Hoppin Mad Mud Run' at Woodsom Farms in Massachusetts. We welcome all levels and encourage team support and participation. The Hoppin Mad Mud Run is a challenging 10K on road and off road run with hills, tire obstacles, 5-foot walls, hay bails, and the final mud pit. This is the craziest and muddiest race this side of the Mason Dixon Line! Race individually, within your age division, or as a member of a 5-person team.

Registration (Individual or Teams of five)

Sign up individually or with a team!! Team Categories: Male, Female, Co-Ed, Fire/EMS, Police, Military, Boot Camp!!! Individual Entry is $50. All team members must register together ($250/team) Registration will be close on May 15th 2010 at 12:00pm. Race Day Registration will be $65. All pre-registered entrants will receive confirmation 1 week prior to the event.

Team Captain Responsibility and RULES

Every Team MUST have a Team Captain 1) Must ensure that ALL team members sign a waiver BEFORE race day! (Go to hoppinmadmudrun.com download a waiver, print out, sign and mail back to us) 2)The Team Captain is the ONLY team member wearing the timing chip. 3) Must round up each team member in the coral area BEFORE entering the mud pit. 4) The Team Captain is the LAST person in the team to cross the finish line. 5) Make sure everyone has their ID for packet pick up.

Team Rules and Regulations

1) EVERY TEAM MEMBER must complete the entire course & all obstacles. 2) EVERY TEAM MEMBER must cross the finish line TOGETHER (with the team captain LAST) for the team to qualify for prizes. 3) All team members must sign the event waiver. 4) Each team member must present their valid photo ID on race day at packet pick up. NO I.D. = NO RACE!! If any rule is broken your team will be DISQUALIFIED. (Please note: there is a 2 hour 45 minute time limit on the completion of the course.)

Race Refunds

Sorry, there are no race refunds and race numbers are non-transferable. In order to maintain the number of 5-person teams in this event, we do allow team member substitutions. You can make the substitution using the online waiver or do it on race day. There is no charge for a team member substitution (VALID PHOTO ID IS REQUIRED RACE DAY). No dogs, baby strollers, or children under the age of 15 are allowed on the course. However, all are allowed at the race site

Awards

Awards given to the top 3 overall finishers, top 3 teams, as well as the top 3 in each division.

Post Race Activities
