Brief Description
The 2009 Woman of Steel Triathlon is SOLD OUT! No additional entries will be available. Make sure you are on our TriUtah email list (http://www.triutah.com, click on Email list at the top of the page) for announcements of when registration will open for future events.
Welcome to the 4th annual TriUtah Woman of Steel Triathlon! This classic event is a women-only pool sprint consisting of a 300 yard pool swim, 11 mile bike, and 3 mile run. Two- and three-women relay teams are welcome.
Girls' Night Out!
The Girls' Night Out is back! It's time you had one night to yourself! Spend a night away from your normal routine and pamper yourself. You certainly deserve it. Come listen to presentations from last year's two inspirational Woman of Steel award recipients, as well as other motivating speakers who will get you ready to race in the morning! More info to come, but for now plan that one night get-away!
Additional Information
The finisher necklaces and chocolate at the finish are back! So are the women-specific technical fabric race shirts and the pampering you've come to expect, and deserve!
In Training, LLC will be conducting a pre-race 'walk-about' during the week prior to the race to review all aspects of the event, answer any last-minute questions you may have, and offer tips for having a successful race!
We also have available charity slots available until at $100 per entry. Your charity slot entry fee will be donated directly to a local charitable cause and will be tax deductible.
The Woman of Steel Triathlon is a USA Triathlon (USAT) sanctioned event. Registration is limited to 500 general entries. Note that registration will close when this limit is reached (mid-February in 2008) and may be prior to the online registration close date listed above.
A portion of the proceeds will benefit a charity organization TBA.
Awards will be given to the Top 3 overall and Top 3 in each age group. Electronic chip timing will be provided.

USAT Sanctioned Event
USA Triathlon is the national governing body for the sports of triathlon, duathlon, winter triathlon and aquathlon in the United States. Participation in a USAT sanctioned event means the event director has the proper permits in place, liability and athlete excess medical insurance coverage and the event plan has met the standard of organization required. USA Triathlon provides rules, guidance and governance to set the standard for safe and fair multi-sport races.
