Brief Description

Miles for Meso is a 5K race and fun run/walk being held less than 30 minutes from downtown St. Louis in historic Alton, Illinois. This exciting event will take place the morning of September 25, 2010 and 100% of registration fees and donations will benefit the Meso Foundation, a non-profit dedicated to finding better treatment options for this rare and aggressive cancer. Presented by the Simmons law firm, and coordinated by the Metro Tri Club.

3.1 Mile Age Groups

5 year age groups from <10 to >75 years and Clydesdale >200 lbs

$250 2nd M/F Overall
$100 3rd M/F Overall
1st-3rd Custom Medals in each age group and Clydesdale

Fund Raising

All entry fees go to the Mesothelioma Applied Research Foundation (www.curemeso.org) a non-profit organizaton dedicated to funding critical research for better treatment options and a cure.

The top three 5K finishers in both the men’s and women’s categories will receive cash prizes! 1st Place - $500 2nd Place - $250 3rd Place - $100 All participants will be eligible for five $100 drawings! Awards for 1st-3rd in each age group!
