Brief Description

The SWAMP & STOMP MUD RUN is a 5K-ish run, with an added bonus of down and dirty obstacles! Created for those with an adventurous spirit, the Swamp & Stomp is definitely NOT your average 5K! Participants may run, walk, or even skip through the course which winds through one of Calhoun County’s newest recreation areas. This off-road adventure takes you across scenic trails and fields, obstacles, and ends with a fun run through a mud pit. It is open to individuals and teams.

Directions

The Altha Recreation Park is located one mile north of Altha Town Hall, just off SR 71 North in Altha. Turn onto Bodiford Road, next to Oglesby Plants International. The park will be on the left. Follow signs for parking and registration.

Additional Information

Cost: Adults - $35 before Sept. 7, $40 after Kids ages 5 to 12 - $10 before Sept. 7, $15 after Adult Teams – individual fee applies to each team member/all members of team must cross the finish line together. *Each adult participant will receive a registration bag with a t-shirt. Each child will receive a t-shirt.
