The Event

Dedicate a run to someone special and we'll proudly mail you the official World Run Day 2009 event t-shirt! Once registered, you'll automatically be listed on our event site as a participant and "Running Ambassador" for quite possibly the greatest event in running history: World Run Day - Sunday, November 8, 2009. Runners from all over the world will be called upon to promote the benefits of running and at the same time donate any amount to a favorite charity.

You will be Provided:

  • World Run Day - 2009 event t-shirt
  • Bib Number (downloaded)

  • Your Name, City, State listed on our event site
  • Link to the World Run Day Online Running Expo
  • Instructions for posting pictures and results

    We're attempting to recruit as many runners in the area as possible to run on World Run Day this year. As many fellow runners will be interested in the start time and location of your World Run Day run, please tell us during registration. Your own personal message (quote/dedication) will also be posted on our event site.

    Post-Event Instructions

    You can choose to upload running photos and videos to our website throughout the entire year. After November 8th, we'll be interested in special stories, photos, and videos to help chronicle World Run Day.

    Preferred Charities

    Feel free to raise money for any charity. Charities listed this year will be instrumental in promoting our event and providing donor pages/links.
