You may register in person at packet pick up on Friday, June 18th, at the American Red Cross - Alexandria Chapter, 123 N. Alfred Street; Or at the race on June 19th, beginning at 6:30 a.m.

Please note, if you register on June 19th, t-shirts will be available on a first come, first serve basis.

DIRECTIONS

Directions From I-95/495 Take Telegraph Road north (Exit 2B). Turn right off the exit onto Pershing Ave., right again on Stovall Street, then left on Eisenhower Ave. Follow signs to parking. Directions from Alexandria From Alexandria: Take Duke Street (Rte 236) toward I-95; turn south on Telegraph Road; stay in right lane. At the Hensley Park sign, exit right onto Mill Road, turn right again. In ¼ mile, turn right on Stovall Street, then left on Eisenhower Ave. Follow signs to parking.

PARKING

There are three free parking lots within 100 meters of the start/finish line. All of which you can access from Eisenhower Avenue. You may park in the lot adjacent to the movie theatre at the corner of Swamp Fox Road and Eisenhower Avenue. There are also two other parking lots across the street on the south side of Eisenhower, directly adjacent to the Metro. Please Note: The parking lot on the North side of the movie theatre with access from Mandeville Lane will not be open for public parking.

METRO

Take Metro Yellow line to Eisenhower Avenue. Metro Opens at 7:00AM on Saturdays and Sundays. For more information visit the Metro website below. please click here.

FAMILY AND DOGGIE FUN RUN DIVISION OF 5K

Strollers and Dogs on short leashes will be allowed for the 5K race only.

AWARDS

Prizes for 10K will be $150 (1st place); $100 (2nd place) and $50 (3rd place) for both female and male runners. Additional Prizes (Red Cross Vintage baseball caps) will be given for the top age winners, male and female, for both races for 8 age groups: Under 19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60--69, 70-79 and 80 and over You must be present to win awards.
