Brief Description

The Russell Forest Run 10K will be run at 7:45AM and the 5K will begin at approximately 8:45. The 5K will use part of the 10K route and will be suitable for walkers and runners.

The Course

This Is The Second Annual Russell Forest Run. The Russell Forest Run is a 10K road race that takes runners through a portion of the 20,000+ acre Russell Forest on gently rolling smooth sand, clay, and gravel roads that were designed for electric cars and bicycles. Directions

Directions: The directions on Google Maps, other online direction services or GPS may not be accurate. If you are coming from Birmingham or Auburn - take Hwy 280 to Alexander City. Go south on Hwy 63 to Russell Crossroads - approximately 11 miles. From the south Russell Crossroads is 2.8 miles north of the Kowaliga Bridge on Hwy 63. Look for signs!
