Brief Description
Athlete's Edge is proud to announce the 5th Annual New Mexico Chips and Salsa 5K Run, 5KWalk, 10K, 1/2 Marathon and Kids K Run. Located in the heart of the North Valley, this fast and flat course starts and finishes at the Southwestern Indian Polytechnic Institute. This family event is a must for any seasoned runner or one who just wants to come out and participate and join the fun.
Packet Pickup and Fitness & Health Expo
Race Packet Pickup will be held September 5th & 6th, 10:00-6:00 p.m. at Athlete's Edge (East), 7120 Wyoming Blvd. NE, in the Del Norte Shopping Center or Athlete's Edge (West), 10250 Cottonwood Park Rd. NW (Cottonwood Park Shopping Center -- just east of Wal Mart and next to AT&T.
Race Information and Parking
Race Day Information and Parking Details will be provided at Race Packet Pickup. Information updates concerning Chips and Salsa will be found on the Athlete's Edge website: www.the-athletes-edge.com. Race Packets must be picked up at Athlete's Edge during Race Packet Pickup dates.

Start Times:
1/2 Marathon Start: 7:00 a.m. (Note: There is a 3.5 hour cut-off.)
5K & 10K Start: 7:15 a.m.
1K Kids Run: 9:00 a.m.
Awards:
5K, 10K & 1/2 Marathon - 1st 3 in each division
1K Kids Run: Finisher Medals to all participants
Registered participants will receive a complimentary post race meal immediately upon finishing.
Participant guests who would like to eat at the post race meal may purchase meal tickets during packet pickup at Athlete's Edge or on race day at S.I.P.I.
