Course Time Limits
The course will remain open for 7 hours
Runner's Expo & Packet Pick-up - 3pm-9pm on Friday, March 4, 2011 at the Hilton Garden Inn.
Pasta Dinner Party - Friday, March 4, 2011 >
5pm-8pm at the Hilton Garden Inn
Parking
If you are driving, there is parking available next to the start line at the James H. Gray Civic Center Parking Lot
Clothing Check
Runners will be given the opportunity to check their warm-up clothing prior to the race. The clothing will be organized for easy distribution to the runners following their race. We are not responsible for any items left on the race course.
Restrooms
Portable restrooms will be available at the Start/Finish line, and out on the course
Race Support
Hydration stations about every 2 miles, medical support, clothing check, security, and enthusiastic spectators
Race Timing:
The Marathon will use "D" Race Timing Tag System. Timing tags will be distributed at the Expo or with your runner packet.
Remember: NO TAG, NO FINISHING TIME!
Timing tags will be attached to your race number.
Weekend Activities
Rock, Roll & Run in Downtown Albany on Saturday, March 5, 2011. A Free admission ticket will be given to each participant for the Music Festival. It is an all day event that kicks off downtown at noon and features bands, kids activities, vendors and crafters until midnight. The Flint RiverQuarium will be having it's 3rd annual Turtle Race with a chance to win $1 million dollars. The Regions Bike Race will be taken place on Saturday and Sunday. Sounds of Praise in the Park will be at Veteran's Park on Sunday.
