Brief Description

This race is in support of a non-profit foundation to Promote awareness; Raise funds; Research for a cure and prevention of Transverse Myelitis. All profits will go to spinal cord research and other causes at UAB related to Transverse Myelitis such as MS. We are dedicated to finding a cure and prevention for this rare spinal cord disease. We feel confident that by working with the scientists and researchers at UAB that one day we will be free from ths traumatic disease.

Additional Information

Last day to register for t-shirt is April 1st. Day of the race registration will cost $30 for the 5k and $20 for the 1 mile Fun Run. The 5k run starts at 7:30am and is on the future home of the Thompson High School cross country course. The 1 mile fun run starts at 8:15am and is on a paved bicycle path around Veteran's Park
