Brief Description

Portage Lakes Fireworks RUN TO THE BEACH 5K is a run/walk with prizes in both running divisions and walking divisions. Awards for top five overall male and female runners and top three overall male and female walkers. Age category awards for top three in the following age groups: RUNNERS: 11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65-69, 70 & over. WALKERS: 11 & under, 12-15, 16-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & older.

Additional Information

This is an Ohio Challenge Series run and walk. Race is run primarily on roads with some flat beautiful waterfront trails and ends on the beach at Portage Lakes State Park. Preregistrants receive men's or women's technical t-shirts.Great big goodie bag. Proceeds benefit the Portage Lakes Fireworks, the largest privately funded fireworks in Ohio.
