Ask Coach Jay Johnson Your Fall Marathon Questions

Chicago Marathon
Fall marathon season is upon us. You've sacrificed and trained hard for most of the summer to prepare to run 26.2 miles. As race day looms closer, most every runner who plans to toe a marathon start line—whether it's for the first time or the twentieth time—will have a last-minute question about his or her preparation, race strategy, aches and pains, and more.

Jay Johnson, who coaches elite, high school and adult runners, has a master's degree in kinesiology and applied physiology, and is the director of Boulder Running Camps, is here to help. Active.com is launching an hour-long Facebook Q&A to connect marathon runners with coach Johnson. On Friday, September 28 from 1 to 2 p.m. Pacific Daylight Time (2 to 3 p.m. Mountain, 3 to 4 p.m. Central, 4 to 5 p.m. Eastern), participants will have the chance to post their fall marathon questions, and receive answers from coach Johnson.

To participate in the Q&A, head over to Facebook and "like" Active.com. Then, on September 28, visit the page and post questions about getting ready for your fall marathon.
