2nd Annual Nantasket Beach Run

Although this race is short, the challenge comes from the sand, which can simulate weights on your ankles and help you push your edge. All proceeds from this race benefit the Hull Boosters.
Sagamore Beach Bobbaroo 5K
August 31, 2013 - Sagamore Beach, Massachusetts 2 of 9This picturesque 5K loops around the shoreline of Sagamore Beach and ends at Clark Field. The after-event features an award ceremony and cookout sponsored by Ken Foster from Breakaway Oil and the X-Grill. This race benefits the Bobby Clifford Memorial Fund and the Stockbridge School of Agriculture.
Applecrest Half Marathon
September 8, 2013 - Hampton Falls, New Hampshire 3 of 9This half-marathon course follows rolling country roads near the beach. It starts and finishes on the Applecrest Farm grounds. At the finish, you'll be treated to homemade apple pie and ice cream, as well as Applecrest's famous apples, pressed cider and Smuttynose Beer.
Ogunquit Beach Lobster Dash
September 21, 2013 - Ogunquit, Maine 4 of 9This 5-mile, USATF-sanctioned race is run exclusively on hard-packed sands. The course begins on Ogunquit Beach, goes up to Moody Beach in Wells and circles back. Proceeds from the Lobster Dash go to the Gumbinner Memorial Scholarship Fund and Ogunquit charities.
Smuttynose Rockfest Marathon
October 6, 2013 - Hampton Beach, New Hampshire 5 of 9This is not only one of the most scenic courses in New England, it's also one of the flattest and easiest. At miles 4 and 6 there are two small hills, but the highest elevation gain is merely 60 feet. Run either a half or full marathon. Both courses are certified, and the marathon is a qualifier for Boston. The after-race party includes Smuttynose handcrafted beer.
UnitedHealthcare Half
October 12-13, 2013 - Newport, Rhode Island 6 of 9Featuring a marathon, half marathon and 5K, these USATF-certified races boast Newport and Middletown's rich history and breathtaking oceanside scenery. Both the marathon, which serves as a Boston qualifier, and the half cover a rolling course.
Blue Mountain Beach Half Marathon and 10K
October 13, 2013 - Blue Mountain Beach, Florida 7 of 9Blue Mountain Beach features the one-and-only mountain on Florida's Gulf Coast. The half marathon and 10K are run on and adjacent to Scenic Highway 30A, which includes sugar sand beaches and dune lakes.
Beach Running World Championships
November 16-17, 2013 - Corpus Christi, Texas 8 of 9This is the first time the Beach Running World Championships will be held in Corpus Christi. Shoes are optional at this USATF-sanctioned event, which features low-tide, out and back runs. A post-race awards party will be held on the beach and includes a live band, food and more.
