Additional Information
“We're really open to anybody who has been running consistently for at least a year,” said Coach Greg Shore, Director of Training. “Anyone who has been running for a year and who can do a long run of at least 10 miles when we start should be able to complete the program. Our goals is for all of the athletes to get to the start line healthy, to finish well, and to have fun.” All runners will receive a training plan geared to their ability level. The group will gather for a supervised and supported long run on Saturday mornings. Other scheduled runs will be done by the athletes on their own. Runners will receive advice on race preparation, hydration, nutrition, race tactics, and injury prevention.
