Howard County Junior Striders Spring Track Program

Brief Description

The Howard County Junior Striders spring track will have two locations for practices again this Spring. The mid-distance runners (1 lap and over) and kids 6 and under will practice at Centennial and the sprinters (1 lap and less) and field event athletes will practice at Oakland Mills.

Multiple Child Discount

2nd, 3rd or 4th child at the same address is $15 cheaper than the 1st child.

Meet schedule

Meets are held at various high schools in Howard, Carroll and Frederick each weekend. Meets cost $5 and are approximately 6 hours. Kids pick events they want to compete in, ask coaches at practice if suggestions needed. We expect every kid to compete in at least 1 meet; the home meet is strongly encouraged. 4/14-Brunswick, 4/21-Oakland Mills, 4/28-Linganore, 5/4-Randallstown, 5/11-Westminster, 5/19-Catoctin

Practice times

Practices are from 6-7:15pm.

Plan for practices to be from 6:00-7:15pm every Monday and Thursday starting March 25 and ending May 20. Email coachlang@hotmail.com with any questions.
