Additional Information

Please Note: This package does not include registration into the 2012 ING New York Marathon. It is intended for Atlanta area runners who are registered for the 2012 New York City Marathon. The Complete Package includes the official Atlanta Marathon Club Coat to be presented towards the end of training. The fall program is for serious, intermediate level Atlanta area runners focused on training for a fall marathon. That's 26 miles, 385 yards. No small feat. You must be ready to train hard. You must have the focus and desire to cross that marathon finish line. You must have at least a few shorter races under your belt already. This is NOT a beginner's program. We meet for fall training on Saturdays, July through November. We have designed an intermediate daily training program that you can follow during the week. Each weekend we will meet for our group training session, camaraderie and run. Are you ready to compete in a race today? Would you have difficulty putting your shoes on right now and running a 10k? If this is you, instead join us in January for Spring Training. It will focus on training toward a goal of running a half marathon. Group runs will take place at some of Atlanta's best running locales. We train hard and you’ll learn how to “clear the wall” with room to spare. A properly trained marathoner can sprint the last 385 yards and, unlike most who limp across the line, we finish strong. Whether you’re a marathoner looking for a PR or a half marathoner looking to move up, Join Us.
