Brief Description

No trip to Los Angeles is complete without a jaunt to the infamous Hollywood sign however, seeing it from far away in a boring tour bus is so last year.

The Hollywood Sign

Since the Hollywood sign was erected in 1923, it has become a California icon representing hope and dreams. When Los Angeles Times publisher Harry Chandler built the sign to advertise his upscale Hollywoodland real estate development, no one knew it would grow to be the primary symbol for the entertainment industry.

Unlike group running or walking tours, Running for the Hollywood Hills is scheduled privately in the morning for one person or small groups of people, accommodating their specific travel schedule. “If people schedule early enough they can see the sun rise above the Hollywood sign, which is an unforgettable experience,” said Cheryl Anker, owner of Off ‘N Running Tours.
