Brief Description

Our first meeting is THURSDAY, JULY 22, 6:30pm. It is in the upstairs meeting room at Lake Lynn Community Center. The address for the community center is 7921 Ray Rd, Raleigh, 27613. We will not be running on Thursday. This will be an intro and informational meeting. We will have hand outs and speaker who will talk about proper fit for running shoes. Our first run will be Saturday, July 24th at 8am. We meet at Shelley Lake that day and park at the Sertoma Art Center parking lot.

Additional Information

This 10 week program is designed for women who have never run and would like to complete a 5k race or just run for fun. Women who ran at one time, and would like to start a running program again are also welcome to join. The purpose of the program is to introduce women to the sport of fitness running as a life-long activity. We will have four group runs a week.
