Brief Description

For beginners and competitors and practiced by thousands of runners, ChiRunning combines modern physics with the ancient wisdom of T’ai Chi to create a running form that is easily learned and makes running more effortless and enjoyable. Level I and Level II ChiRunning clinics will be offered.

Level I ChiRunning Clinic Description

The Level I clinic will cover: (1)Introduction to ChiRunning and its benefits to triathletes, (2) Injury prevention and energy efficiency, (3) Cooperating with the force of gravity and the force of the road, (4) ChiRunning form.

Level II ChiRunning Clinic Description

The Level II clinic is designed for people that have alreeady participated in a Level I clinic and want to take ChiRunning to the next level. The Level II clinic will include (1) a review of proper ChiRunning posture, (2) Cooperating with the force of gravity and the force of the road, (3) Pelvic rotation/use of your oblique muscle to run more efficiently and faster (4) Hill running (5) Video analysis before and after clinic.

Clinic times

Level I clinics will be at 8AM, 10AM and 2PM. A Level II clinic will be offered at 12PM.

Clinic duration

Each clinic is 2 hours.

Please Note!!

These clinics will take place outside! Please dress appropriately. Changing facilities will be available. Meet at the TriTek/ChiRunning booth on the expo floor 15 minutes prior to the start of your clinic.

Additional Information

The ChiRunning clinics will be led by certified ChiRunning and ChiWalking Coach Vince Vaccaro of TriTek. Vince has been an avid runner for over 30 years. His running experiences began in high school and continued through college. He is now completing a goal of running a marathon in each state. He has completed countless events from 5k to The Lake Tahoe Triple.
