Welcome to the second Race in the 6-Pack Series. This event is open to everyone, regardless of whether you've participated in the other 6-Pack events or not.
The 6-Pack Series starts on June 16, 2012 and offers a progressive series of race distances from 1 Mile to 10k over the course of six months. There is a significant discount and enticing perks for purchasing your race entries as a package for the entire series. See www.3WRaces.com for details!
Location:
Big Dry Creek Trail, Westminster, CO. Bib pick up and onsite registration is at Springhill Suites, 6845 W. 103rd Avenue Westminster, CO 80020.
Distance: 2 Mile OR 5k (out and back course)
Times and Dates: Sunday, July 8 , 2012
7:30 - 8:00 AM Onsite registration at Springhill Suites $30.00
8:00 - 8:30 AM Bib pick up at Springhill Suites for pre-registered racers.
9:00 AM Start at the Big Dry Creek Trail (Back of the hotel parking lot)
9:40 AM Awards and Drawings at the Finish Line area. Must be present to win - no awards will be mailed.
Entry Fee:
$25.00. Register online until July 6th at 8PM, or register race day morning.
On race day, the fee is $30.00.
Prizes and awards:
+At the END of the race, each participant will receive a PINT GLASS, as well as coupons for free and discounted offers at local businesses. There is no T-shirt with this race.
+ Overall Top 3 Male and Female winners recieve medals, free gym memberships and valuable gift cards :)
+ All top 3 age groupers receive special coupons and prizes. (18 and under, 19-29, 30's, 40's, 50's, 60's, 70's and up)
+This race supports Growing Home, a Westminster 501(c)3 organization which provides support to local children and families. Bring 5 items to donate on race day and you'll be entered into a raffle for fun prizes!
Timing:
This is a chip-timed event. Your bib (with the chip on the back) must be visible on your front side as you cross the finish line. Your results will be available at 3WRaces.com after the event.
Parking:
Use the Springhill Suites parking lot near the south-east corner. We encourage the use of environmentally thoughtful transportation. This area is easily accessible by bicycle and bus. Check out Ridearrangers.org for event specific carpooling, etc.
Course and Water:
This is an out and back course. We will have water coolers at the start/finish area, but NO disposable cups. Please bring your own water bottle for drinking water.
