Associate Instructors will teach at least one 90 minute class of two that they propose. They will receive supervision and feedback on this class from a mentor (SAFD Certified Teacher, Fight Director or Fight Master). Associate Instructors assist other instructors in classes and may be assigned other duties at the discretion of the coordinators. Requirements: Letter of Intent, Letter of Recommendation from SAFD CT, FD, or FM, and two class proposals, one of which needs to be a basic class. All Associate Instructor applicants must also submit credentials (official proof of being an SAFD Advanced Actor/Combatant in good standing who is CURRENT in all eight disciplines (or BASSC equivalent) both at the time of application AND at the time of the workshop). Shortly after completing your application, you should receive two confirmation emails: one from Active Network that will help us locate your application if you have further questions about it AND one from MACE NFP that will include links to your supplemental forms. Your application cannot be processed until ALL forms are received. To apply for an AI position, you will need to upload your letter of intent, headshot, your class offerings, your letter of recommendation, and your credentials (i.e. all of your current proficiency certificates combined into one document) before your application can be finalized. The confirmation email you receive from MACE NFP will have a subject line that reads "Your application for MACE Winter Wonderland Workshop 2016 has been received!" and will include links for you to upload your letter of intent, your headshot, your class offerings, your letter of recommendation, and your credentials (i.e. all of your current proficiency certificates combined into one document). If you do not receive a confirmation email that include links to supplemental forms, please check your junk mail, your spam folder, and your "All Mail" folder (if you use gmail) to access your supplemental forms.
