About This Activity

Dr. Nancy Hague, a former professor at Georgia Highlands College, passed away in February 2012 as a result of ovarian cancer. Nancy was a dedicated daughter, sister, friend, and educator. As a way to honor the memory of their dear friend, two colleagues and Nancy's sister have established the Dr. Nancy Hague Memorial Scholarship through the Georgia Highlands College Foundation. Her friends hope to raise money for the scholarship and to raise awareness about ovarian cancer with this event.

Description: The course will circle around the Floyd Campus of Georgia Highlands College. The course contains a few gentle slopes as well as a long flat stretch around Paris Lake. This race is suitable for the beginner as well as the more experienced runner.
