The PT Challenge is a hardcore cross-training event that mirrors U.S. Military basic training during boot camp. It begins with a 5K run lead by U.S. Military personnel - in formation - while calling out cadence. Military Drill Instructors will then work you through a series of exercises to wear you down. Once completed you will sprint to the start line and cross the timing mat on all 4s doing a 25-yard "Bear Crawl", then a 25-yard "Low Crawl" followed by a 1.6 mile sprint.
The "PT CHALLENGE" will give participants the opportunity to take part in real U.S. Military PT (physical training) - boot camp style.

U.S. Military Drill Instructors will be on hand to motivate, discipline and challenge you in a series of exercises including:
- Jumping Jacks
- Push Ups
- Sit Ups
- Flutter Kicks
- Burpees (Look ‘em up)
These exercises will come at you fast and furious. Drill Instructors will be in your face to motivate and encourage you.
You will be required to keep pace during each exercise. If you are not able to keep up, Drill Instructors will be on hand to keep you focused.
Once you've been "smoked" by the DI's, the race portion begins. It will start with a 25-yard "Bear Crawl", and then a 25-yard "Low Crawl" followed by another lap (1.6 miles) around the course. That's right, we said "another" lap. Each participant of the PT Challenge will be required to complete the 5K Trot w/ Troops first.
The race portion will be timed - the winner will receive a $500 prize. Yup, we said it! $500 BUCKS to the winner!
