About This Activity

This class reveals the amazing story of the experiences of British and German civilians during WW II. It describes how they faced the same challenges of trying to live and work as U.S. civilians did during the same war but also had to survive deadly bombing attacks, which destroyed many of their cities, and occupation by enemy forces. Learn about two of the most incredible home fronts of this war and why the U.S. was spared this tragedy. Instructor: Dick Klobuchar
