Description

We're sorry, but this course is over. The last meeting was Thursday, November 21, 2013.

Several special diets will be examined, including those that help manage lactose intolerance, gluten intolerance, irritable bowel syndrome, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, metabolic syndrome, arthritis, and food allergies. The vegan diet will be covered as well. Note: NFS Core. Prerequisite: Basic Nutrition and Food Science. This is a lecture class.


This is a lecture class. Please note that it is not permissible for persons other than those officially registered to attend this class. Substitutions without the prior approval and processing of SPCS are not permitted.
