What's Included

This camp is co-ed and designed to develop and enhance the tennis skills of the participants using the USTA- regulated levels of play and rules. Saints Tennis Academy provides technical skills at all levels of play including forehand, backhand, volleys, and serves. Tennis aspects such as conditioning, comprehensive drills, tennis related games, competition play ,and strategy are all incorporated. Rising K- 3rd grades: - Co-Ed - Half- day camp: 9:00 a.m. am-– 12:00 p.m.pm - Uses USTA- regulated format, quick start nets, and red dot balls - Includes all comprehensive drilling, games, conditioning, and competition mentioned above. Jamie Notarainni has been coaching tennis around the Triangle area for almost ten years, serving as the head junior varsity tennis coach and assistant varsity tennis coach at Saint Mary’s School for the past three years. This will be Jamie’s third summer serving as the director of the Saint Mary’s School summer tennis program. Jamie also works at the Millbrook Exchange Tennis Center and serves as the head tennis pro for the Town of Garner. She is currently working towards a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management at North Carolina State University.

Summer at Saint Mary's

Summer at Saint Mary’s offers access to all academic, athletic and arts facilities on the Saint Mary’s School beautiful gated and historic, 23-acre campus. Summer Day Programs are offered for ages rising kindergarten through 12th grades with co-ed and all-girl sessions. 

 

The summer of 2017 will offer, once again, the INNOVATORS HUB, a week-long residential program for rising 7th - 9th grade girls with the focus on Leadership, Entrepreneurship and STEAM. Visit www.sms.edu for more information.
