This two-week long art studio will explore the world of animals, both real and imagined. After looking at famous works of art featuring animals, students will create unique two and three-dimensional works of art. -- Location: Lower Art Room -- Use Entrance: #6 -- Instructor: Hilary Rinke, Prairie School Teacher -- Minimum: 5 -- Maximum: 15

Prairie’s summer programs: you won’t have a better time anywhere else! Spend your days learning, exploring, performing, discovering, creating, and growing, all on our beautiful campus on the shores of Lake Michigan. Spend your summer pursuing new passions or building on the skills you already have; from artistic to athletic to anything in between, Summer on the Prairie is the place to be this summer!

                        

Hawks Haven Day Camp (K4-­8)

Are you interested in a full day or week of activities? Then Hawks’ Haven Day Camp is for you! Offered from 8:45AM to 3:45PM -- with wraparound care from 7:15AM to 6PM each day -- Hawks’ Haven is full of exciting hands-on projects, field trips, academic and artistic lessons designed to create lifelong memories. Meet new friends and reconnect with old pals in a nurturing environment that focuses on the whole child.               

Summer Workshops (K­-12)

Have you ever wished for the chance to try a new artistic or academic endeavor in depth? To spend your day singing, writing, performing, creating or designing? Explore our one-hour, two-hour, and half-day specialty workshops! We promise you a hands-on learning environment with expert faculty and a world of opportunities at your fingertips.             

Sports Camps (K­-12)

Students of every age will find a place to work up a sweat at TPS this summer!  Beginning with soccer for our youngest campers (age 4) and a wide range of opportunities -- from physical fitness boot camps to skills drills for high school students -- all of our athletics camps nurture individual talents and abilities at every level. Campers learn to turn fundamental athletic skills into expert technique through skill building exercises, games, drills, and friendly competition.
