Cameron in his own words
I love the outdoors more than anything else in this world. It allows me to find peace in the middle of turmoil. If I could be hiking, climbing, or kayaking, I would be doing so right now. I love music, it is my outlet for emotion when my pen nor my mouth can loose the feelings I have. I am a strange individual honestly, but I am one of a kind, and that is exactly how I like it. I love everyone no matter how they have wronged me. I love this Earth no matter how many times it has caused me pain.
On April 4, 2012 Cameron died tragically in a single vehicle accident on Interstate 81, just two months shy of graduation in 2012. Cameron will always be remembered as a young man who brought color to a gray world. He was senior at Pulaski County High School; just two months shy of graduation. He aspired to attend West Virginia University, where he was accepted on early decision. Cameron lived and loved life to the fullest. Cameron was extremely active in school and extra curricular activities. He was Captain of the Wrestling Team, Captain of the Math, Science and All-Around MACC Academic Team, a member of the Track team, Drama, Choir, Young Life, and in addition to attending his regular high school he also attended the Southwest Virginia Governor's School. Cameron was an accomplished Eagle Scout. The best way to describe Cameron is that ?God took all the crayons in the world and scribbled him inside and out.? He was known for his signature smile and his bear hugs to all that entered in his path.
