What's Included

We will focus on the development of skills specific to training for both long and short distance ergometer testing. Participants will perform ergometer workouts that are designed to provide a basis for establishing appropriate pacing during testing pieces. After completion of the workouts, camp participants will be educated on how to interpret their results and also how to make technical changes to increase economy of movement. The guiding philosophy will be to help participants put a maximum amount of expended energy into the drive phase of the rowing stroke while preserving energy on the recovery phase of the rowing stroke. During each workout you will receive individualized instruction from the Princeton Coaching staff. Training will consist of work on the Concept 2 ergometer, rowing instruction in the Princeton University rowing tanks, and video instruction following the work.
