The Irish Road Rover 5K benefits Habitat for Humanity of Greater Portland. With your help, "The Rover" has been able to donate thousands of dollars to help provide affordable housing in the Greater Portland area.
Race Day Registration & Packet Pick-up
THERE IS NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. You can register on Saturday, March 2nd from 10-3 at the Maine Running Company (563 Forest Avenue) if there are entries left. You can also pick up your packet there during this time. Packet pickup (ONLY) will also be available from 9:30am to 10:45am at the Brian Boru' Pub. Please only pick up your chip if you fully intend on running the race. Thanks.
Last Year's Results
The race begins at the corner of Fore and Center St. in the Old Port. Runners will go North on Fore St., up Munjoy Hill and back down, take a right on India St. and a left on Middle St., finishing near the Civic Center.
The race benefits Habitat for Humanity.
The entry fee is $15. The first 250 runners receive a LONG-SLEEVED TECH shirt or BEER STEIN. ** CASH AWARDS TO THE TOP MALE, FEMALE AND TEAM Other Awards go to the top three overall male and female finishers, and 5-year age group categories. There is also a corporate team competition, a running club competition and an open (family) competition with awards to the top three teams of four or more runners in each category.
