About This Activity

Onsite registration is possible at any of the five trailheads.  Unfortunately, t-shirts will need to be ordered for future delivery.  You may either pay an additional $5 at the event to have it mailed to your registration address, or it will be made available at the Polk City Government Center after 28 Nov 2013 for pick-up without an additional fee.

Join us on Saturday, October 19th, 2013 for an enjoyable ride along portions of the General James A Van Fleet State Trail, the Polk City Extention, the Auburndale/TECO trail, and/or the University Trail. Located midway between Orlando and Tampa, this is a jewel of Central Florida .

This event is a personal cycling challenge. Choose the distance you want to ride, choose your starting location, stop by and see the beautiful scenery of central Florida, and enjoy looking at new bicycles and equipment offered by select vendors at the Polk City trailhead.

With two new restrooms, facilities are available near each of the five possible registration areas/trailheads. Rest stops will be stocked at each trailhead with snacks and beverages to keep you going. Whether you ride 5 miles or 100, come join us for a fun filled day.

An optional (additional fee) luncheon will be made available in Freedom Park, adjacent to the Polk City Trailhead. You may indicate your interest on the registration fee.

A goodie bag with select items, to include your wicking polyester event t-shirt (available with registrations made at least two weeks prior to the event) , will be located at the starting trailhead you specify on your registration form. Please insure that you start at the trailhead you designate.

Alternatively, for an additional fee, we can mail your goodie bag to your registration address.

Remember: Any day on a bike has got to be fun.

Event schedule and times

Registration at each trailhead will start at 9 AM and teardown of trailhead break areas will start at 3 PM. Plan to arrive so that you may cycle the distance you desire to ride prior to dusk when the trails close.
