ONLINE REGISTRATION IS CLOSED. You can still register on Friday afternoon [between 4-7:30 PM] or the morning of the ride [starting at 6 AM].
Weather forecasts show a great weather for the ride.
This year's Sierra Century offers three classic routes all start/end at the Amador County Fairgrounds in Plymouth:
•Metric (65 miles, 4500 ft. elevation gain) goes to Ione, Sutter Creek, Volcano, and Fiddletown.
•Century (102 miles, 7400 ft. elevation gain) follows the Metric route to Fiddletown and up Slug Gulch.
•Double Metric (124 miles, 10,000 ft. elevation gain) follows the Century route to the top of Slug Gulch and adds an extra loop with additional climbing before returning to the Fairgrounds.
The ride will be held rain or shine. Sorry, but all payments are non-refundable. This year you will be able to transfer your registration through Active.com. You can also purchase ride insurance. See Active.com for details.
Plenty of free parking at the Amador County Fairgrounds. Once at the Fairgrounds, follow the signs and volunteer flaggers.
A continental breakfast will be available during morning registration.
The post-ride meal will be served starting at 12 Noon and closing at 6:00 PM.
Event Closes: 6:00 PM
Tent Camping: The Amador County Fairgrounds provides plenty of space for tent camping. Tent camping is $25, per night, (2-person max.). Reservations can be made during event registration.
RV Parking: The Amador County Fairgrounds has RV parking with water and electrical hookup available for $30, per night. Reservations can be made during event registration.
There are a limited number of showers at various locations at the Fairgrounds (see Fairgrounds site map at sierracentury.org).
Horizons 49er Village and RV Resort: 49er Village is next door to the Fairgrounds in Plymouth is another option. To make your reservation, go to www.49ervillage.com or call (209) 245-6981. Be sure to mention the Sierra Century and code: SWSC to receive your discount.
Hotels/B&Bs/etc.: There are a variety of hotels, B&Bs, cottages in the nearby area. For a complete listing of accommodations in the Amador County area, please go to www.touramador.com. Sierra Century jerseys are available for purchase when you register for the ride, and on the day of the ride. Order early for the best size availability. We will also be selling our previous years Sierra Century merchandise at discounted prices during the day of the ride at the Merchandise Table (limited quantities are available).

Event schedule and times
Registration check-in: Friday June 14, 2013 from 4:00-7:30 PM. Saturday, from 6-9 AM.
Start Time: Double Metric and Century riders need to be on the course by 7:00 AM.
- Water stop in Ione opens at 6:45 AM (NEW LOCATION, refer to route sheet)
- The next stop is a full rest stop in Sutter Creek opens at 7:00 AM
- Double Metric riders must leave the Rest Stop at the top of Slug Gulch, by 2:00 PM.
- Late Double Metric riders will be redirected to Century course.
