SD Pierre Invitational Swim Meet

About This Activity

This meet is hosted by Pierre Swim Team, held under the sanction of South Dakota Swimming and USA Swimming Inc. The current USA Swimming and SD Swimming rules will govern the conduct of the meet. This will be a Combined/Interwoven USA Swimming and Masters meet. Events will be swum as Timed finals. The meet will be pre-seeded and swimmers are responsible for reporting to the correct lane and heat as indicated in the program. All events will start from the deep end. Masters events and warm ups will be swam separately from age-group events. All swimmers, coaches, clubs and officials must be currently registered with USA Swimming. The age of the swimmer on November 10 determines the age of the swimmer for the entire meet. Swimmers may swim a maximum of 8 individual events for the meet, but no more than 5 per day. Swimmers may swim 2 relay events for the meet, but no more than 1 per day. SD Head Tax is $3.00 per swimmer. Entry fees are $3.50 per individual entry and $5.00 per relay entry. Swimmer Facility Fee is $6.00 per swimmer. All entries and entry fees must be received no later than 5:00 PM CDT on Friday, November 2, 2012. After this time additions or changes are at the discretion of the Meet Referee. On Deck USA Swimming registration will be permitted with appropriate documentation. Swimmers must show verification of their membership to the Meet Referee or be deck registered. A $10.00 deck registration fee will be charged in addition to the current registration fee. Fines may be imposed if a swimmer participates and is not registered. Deck entries will be allowed if space is available and at the discretion of the Meet Referee. No team or individual scores will be kept. Ribbons will be awarded for 1st through 8th place for individual events in the following age groups: 6 & under, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-16, 17-19. No awards will be given for Masters’ events. Relay events ribbons will be awarded for first through fourth place in the following age groups: 8 & under, 9-10, 11-12, 13 -19.
