Zumba is a style of movement set to varying Latin beats designed to deliver a cardiovascular workout to participants while also toning the major muscle groups of the body. No equipment is needed. The class is appropriate for all ages and levels of fitness. Low impact and higher intensity options will be offered in order to meet all individual needs. Over the course of the class, the basic moves will be introduced such as salsa, merengue, hip hop, reggaetone, belly dancing, and cha cha, and then more routines will be introduced based on those original steps.
