Beginning/introduction to basketball with emphasis on general rules and strategies of the game This clinic is designed to help improve your childs basketball skills. Not only will they learn to improve ball-handling, dribbling, shooting skills with the AM Session, they will also learn the importance of teamworkand practice their new skills with scrimmage games in the PM session. Parents are guided through proper spotting techniques for working with their tot on low balance beams, spring boards, and tumbling mats. Our curriculum includes eye/hand coordination activities with colorful props. Occasional musical activities add to the thrill of class. Age appropriate fundamental body positions, elementary rolling, static poses, and locomotor skills are introduced to this young age group.
