Graphic Design Lab: Promoting your Work with Visual Materials The development of your visual identity is paramount to getting your business, project, or event noticed. Well-designed logos that strengthen the visual image of a brand can be the starting point for other promotional materials. In this weekly class, we will think strategically about this process in a supportive and encouraging environment.This class offers unique lessons rooted in the principles of graphic design to help you continue to build your professional visual identity. Participants will be introduced to design concepts including color, type, form and function, and a basic Adobe Creative suite overview including Indesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop. Using these tools, you will learn how to create a strong mark and printed material to promote your endeavors. all prices include $10 registration fee & $10 materials fee Important Notice from UCAL: Due to an increase in charges from our online service the University City Arts League is now charging a $4.72 registration fee when you pay with a credit card using our online system. Customers not wishing to pay this fee can fill out a paper registration form in the office and pay by cash or check. Families with a financial need can contact the office to have their registration fees waived. These fees will not apply to scholarship students. At the end of your registration process through the Active system, you will be offered a 30-day free trial of something called the Active Advantage program.
