Come join Coach Meg for You Go Girls Summer Camp! We'll have all the time we need to run, play, and build friendships with fellow Sole Sisters. Each participant will have a video analysis of form, support with personal goal-setting, and fun break-out sessions around body image and healthy nutrition. Campers will learn important core and plyometric exercises that prevent injury and help strengthen the body as you grow. We'll even have a few surprise guest speakers. The distance run each day is a 'challenge by choice' amount between 1-4 miles across different activities. Meg Waldron has coached You Go Girls for 6 years and has run and coached for over 25 years from youth to collegiate level. She has coached Penn Relays champions, All-Americans, and adult runners, and is completing her Masters in Sport Psychology. Session 1 is for girls currently in grades 3, 4, and 5. The week will include an introduction to how to run with partners and in a group, proper form, gear, and hydration, as well as fun games that get us moving while reinforcing positive group dynamics. Early drop off is available at no additional cost from 8:00am-9:00am. Optional Extended Day available from 3:00-5:30pm each day. Please select this option during registration.
