What's Included

Students will learn the fundamentals of using their voice & body movement to create a character. They will also have a hands on experience creating a stage production for friends and family. Students must be in kindergarten or older to attend this class

Pensacola Little Theatre is a nonprofit Theatre located in Pensacola,FL.

 

 

Pensacola Little Theatre's Education Department strives to provide superior training and guidance to performers, writers, designers, directors, and technicians of all ages.

 

Classes, workshops, intensives, and camps are offered throughout the year to deliver a variety of educational opportunities to Pensacola and surrounding communities.

 

 

PURPOSE

 

To provide foundational and ongoing theatre and performing arts education to promote and develop

• self-confidence,

• self-discipline,

• communication skills,

• collaborative skills,

• creativity,

• and focus

through an array of practical and hands-on opportunities in a non-competitive and encouraging atmosphere.

 

EDUCATIONAL VISION

 

We believe that every person is inspired and molded by arts education and that theatre is an important tool with which essential life skills can be honed.

 

We believe that skills learned through theatre arts will be used both on and off the stage, creating well-rounded individuals that will contribute to and positively enrich the Pensacola community.

 

We believe that arts education can flourish and be accessible to all.
