PARC hosts an annual race to raise money for the Pearland Parks Department to aid in the development of area running trails.
5K/10K Fun Run/Walk at 8:00 am is open to walkers, race walkers, joggers, runners and participants of all ages and abilities. Awards: Overall Male and Female will receive awards. Top finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+.
We also have a 1K Fun Run for the kids, and a costume contest.
Early until 9/30 - $25 for 5K/10K; $10 for Kids K Regular 10/1 - 10/29- $30 for 5K/10K; $15 for Kids K Race Day 11/2 - $35 for 5K/10K **PLEASE NOTE: Registration available at packet pickup on Friday at location TBD (3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.) OR race morning (6:00 a.m. to 7:15 a.m.) **

Overall Male and Female will receive awards. Top three finishers in the following age groups: 14 and under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+. Wear your Halloween costume...we will have a costume contest and winners will get a prize! *Great awards and door prizes.
Awards ceremony will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Packet pickup will be Friday, November 1st location TBD and on race morning beginning at 6:00 a.m. Race day registration will end at 7:15 a.m.
PARC members and PARR will receive a discount. **Contact us directly regarding group discounts.**
The time limit for completing the 10K is 1 hour 30 minutes. The course will close on a rolling schedule based on a 14:29 per mile pace. If you cannot finish the 10K within the allotted time, you will be required to move off the course. We encourage you to run the 5K, if you need more time than allowed.
Philosophy: To promote running and walking for fitness and fun. Our members range from recreational exercisers to competitive athletes and we welcome all fitness levels. Our club offers training support and nutrition education to help our members achieve their goals, whether it is to run their first 5K or qualify for Boston.
