About This Activity

Tai Chi Chuan is a very old form of martial arts that originated in China. A series of exercises were developed to train fighters in areas of physical fitness, balance and centering. Tai Chi Chuan taught martial artists how to be aware of their balance
and weight shifts in detail. This class will provide simple exercises
that help you be aware of your center of gravity and specific weight
changes at the foot level. These exercises are useful to any athlete who
would like to enhance his weight shift awareness, and especially to
those pursuing Golf training techniques that emphasize weight shift
