Break out your Hawaiian shirts and dust off your grass skirts. It’s time to get ready for the Hawaiian Run Thingy! Yes, “thingy”; that which is different and fun, and includes something for everyone. If you are looking to enjoy a Hawaiian experience without the cost of travel, the Hawaiian Run Thingy is your destination. Hula dance lessons, limbo, Hawaiian shirt contest, bouncy house, coconut roll, live tropical birds, Sandbox Discovery, an amazing post-race celebration and so much more will be happening at Shakerag Knoll on Saturday, April 29th beginning at 4:00pm.
One of last year’s exhibitors, TCBY Yogurt, will be back again this year. As TCBY’s Mike Murtaugh commented, “We really enjoyed being there and feeding off the Hawaiian theme. We offered special flavors of frozen yogurt like pina colada, mango sorbet, and Hawaiian pineapple. Run Thingy was such a unique event with great activities for the entire family that you just can't find anywhere else.”
