The City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department offers many wonderful activities for children between the ages of 3 and 5. These classes provide a wonderful introduction into an organized, positive, classroom environment. Begin the socialization process for your child with a fun and exciting recreational class provided by your City of Phoenix Parks and Recreation Department. Children will be introduced to a classroom environment. Age appropriate projects and activities will be offered." An in depth look at film, current and classic, domestic and foreign. Class includes discussions about directors, actors and film techniques. Participants will view films at home prior to class discussion. Selected film information:" Participants will learn how to dance modern (street/pop) hip-hop. Participants will also learn steps and routines as they prepare for performances and talent shows." The instructor(s) are part of a local group called the Precise Dance Crew.""" Exposure to fundamentals of cheerleading and all the components of cheer and dance. Students will learn basic stunting , cheers, chants, dance steps and tumbling appropriate for age group. Students should wear comfortable clothing and tennis shoes as they willl be moving around a lot." This program is full of fun methods that will allow students to learn proper voice technique including posture, breath support, pitch accuracy, and projection. The students will also master the art of performance and presentation. No prior experience is required.
