Ages 6 to 18. Equine Assisted therapy classes are offered to individuals with some cognitive, physical, or emotional disabilities. Participants will experience a wide range of benefits from increased flexibility, better balance, greater confidence and self esteem. Participants need to have long pants, ASTM-SEI approved riding helmet, hard soled, closed toed shoes with a 1/2 heel. Participants need to fill out additional paperwork located at gallopingacres.com/docs/Therapeutic Riding annually prior to mounting.Registrations from residents residing outside of Hanover County will be accepted after January 1 as space permits.Cost of class is $260.Instructor: Shannon Lawson, Galloping Acres Foundation
