Weather
The temperature and humidity in Nebraska can be variable. Most September days are sunny and breezy with an average temperature of about 50 degrees at 6:30 a.m., with winds between 5-10 mph.
Timekeeping & Pace Setting
The Omaha Marathon will use Chronotrack Timing this year. The Omaha Running Club will provide pace setters for runners wishing to finish in 3:00 hours, increasing in 15-minute increments up to 4 hours and 30 minutes.
Refreshments
Water stops will be located approximately every mile along the course. Energy drinks, sports gels and vaseline will also be provided.
Results
Results of all three events will be posted within 36 hours on the Internet at www.omahamarathon.com
Pasta Dinner & Events
Dinner will be held from 4-6pm on September 26th at InPlay on 15th and Cummings Street. It includes FREE pasta dinner for participants, DOOR PRIZES, Balloon Artist, and much more! Bring the family!
Expo & Packet Pickup
The Expo will be held at InPlay on 15th and Cumings Street on September 26th from 10am-5pm.
InPlay is an entertainment center that is fun for the whole family and an awesome atmosphere. It is located close to the start and finish line. Packet pickup is from 10am-5pm.
NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION.
Buford Foundation
The Omaha Marathon is again proud to recognize this year's race as a charity event. $1 of each registration will be donated to the Buford Foundation. For more information about the Buford Foundation please see below.
