Check-In / Registration
You must check-in on site for the race. Bring your registration confirmation. Check in will be held on site Friday, July 10 from 4 to 6 pm and on race day from 6:00 to 8:00 am. On-site registration is available at these times too (additional fee applies, shirt not guaranteed due to limited quantity). We encourage early registration by mail or internet -- we'll pay active.com's extra fee for online registration this year!.
Kids Triathlon
A Kid's Triathlon will be held Friday evening, July 10, at 6 pm. Register on line using the link on this page. Age 12 and under swim 100y/bike 3k/run 1 mi., age 9 and under: 50/2/0.5, and age 6 and under: 25y/1 k/0.25 mi. Inquire with the the Stevens Point YMCA, Jake Franklin, 715-342-2980. 2-4-2 Teen Triathlon
For ages 13-15/16-18 (or anyone older), this event will be held DURING the adult race (not on Friday night), start time 8:30 A.M. Swim 200m, Bike 4 miles, Run 2.7k. It is estimated to take 20-40 minutes to complete. Adult chaperones may register for this division in order to race along with a teen. Register using the link on this page.
Fees / Cut-off dates
Preregistration closes July 8 for all events, onsite fees apply thereafter. Adult individuals: $45 by June 20, $55 by July 8, $70 Onsite. Adult Relay: $65 by June 20, $75 by July 8, $90 Onsite. Teen individual (or chaperon): $20 by July 8, $30 Onsite. Teen Relay: $35 by July 8, $50 Onsite. Kids Tri: $15 by July 8, $25 Onsite.
Family Activities
Bukolt Park has a playground and beach for the family to enjoy. Mead Park, on the west side of the river, along the run course, has a super new playground. In addition, downtown Stevens Point is a pleasant hang-out. The Kid's Tri on Friday evening is a very fun, social event and we invite adult athletes to spectate and even help out if they like.

Race Cancellation Policy
In the event that weather or other adverse conditions force cancellation of the triathlon on race day, there will be NO REFUND of entry fees. Pre-registered participants will be offered FREE ENTRY for the next year's event.
Results
An on-line version of the results will be available within a few days after the race at www.spymca.org. The 2008 results are at this site too.
Swim Course
Teens start at boat dock, 8:25 sharp. Adults start at beach house, 8:40 am sharp. Both swim one-way, down river, to a grassy shore exit 200 meters south of the boat dock.
