Brief Description
Come to Athens, GA for the INAUGURAL TERRAPIN BEER 5K PLUS ONE MORE MILE for a total distance of 4.1 Miles (Wanna know how they arrived at that? 5K = 3.1 M + ONE MORE MILE) The start/finish will be held at Terrapin Beer Company, located at 265 Newton Bridge Road, Athens, GA 30607 and the course will be run over paved streets with a short section on dirt road.
Additional Information
Awards will be given to Overall M/F, Masters M/F, and top 3 M/F in age groups beginning 10 and under through 75 and over. Finish line management provided by Classic Race Services with complete results posted online at www.active.com, www.runningintheusa.com, and www.coolrunning.com. The entry fee includes a tour of the Terrapin Beer Brewery. This event is part of the 2009 Run and See Georgia Grand Prix Series. Packet pickup and race day registration will begin at 3:00PM.
