Brief Description

The race start is on Route 260, at White Bridge Park, just east of Camp Verde. The end of the race is at Beasley Flats, a National Forest Service Recreation Area approximately 10 miles downriver from the start. A seven mile check point is located at the Clear Creek parking area.

Pre-registration Entry Fees (until March 16,2009): Adults - $20.00 Children (12 and Under) - $15.00 *Fees include: Verde River Canoe Challenge T-shirt and required insurance coverage. Race day registration fees: (After March 16, 2009) Adults - $25.00 Children (12 and Under) - $20.00 *Fees include: Verde River Canoe Challenge T-shirt and required insurance coverage. A free 10th anniversary hat will be included for the first 100 entries. Canoe Challenge Distance: 10 miles (Race Start: White Bridge to Race Finish: Beasley Flats) River Difficulty: Class I, II and III (depending on the river level) Time: Race starts at 10:00 am (shuttles from Beasley Flats start at 7:30 am until 9:30 am)
